Monster Rancher 2 Growth Phase Reference Guide

A Visual reference guide. As your monster ages it grows in size and changes life stages. Every monster has 3 total sizes; Baby Size, Adolescent size, and Adult size. Of the 10 Life stages, the physical growth happens at Stage 3, and Stage 5. Using the Drill Selection screen with the House in the background can help you determine which growth phase your monster is in.

Because there are slight differences in the GUI between the original PlayStation version and MR2DX, both sets of images are provided to reference. Colt only gives the Stage 5 alert once in the PlayStation version (Then never again), However in MR2DX You will always get the Stage 5 notification from Colt.

Why is this important to know? Because in addition to stat gain aptitudes a monster may have, those aptitudes are also scaled up or down depending on which Life Stage they're in. Now you can plan at which times you need to swith gears and raise different stats that might otherwise be difficult to raise.
