Does the class matter when making a monster a coach?

Monster Rancher Metropolis: Monster Rancher Advance Archive (GameBoy Advance): Coaches/Coaching: Does the class matter when making a monster a coach?

I recently maxed out a golem/tiger to 999 power and made him a power coach, unfortunately I only got him to Rank B. When I train my monstars on power I only see about 4 points difference versus the other trainers. Is it supposed to be like that or does rank matter when coaching?

I don't think that anyone has done extensive research into it yet, sorry.

My Pow coach is a Tyrant with 999 power, that was S rank. My Accuracy coach was a Mogi/Zan with 999 Accuracy, but he was B rank. While training my Night Mew to be my future speed coach, he always always ALWAYS got better accuracy increases than power increases. Based on that, I'd say that the species of your monster and the stat of the coach are what's important, and the coaches' ranks are important only insomuch as their being a prerequisite to being a coach, but otherwise contribute nothing to their coaching ability.
