I've had good combos, but never a great before. And thanks to the information provided by Dark Phoenix, I decided to engineer myself a great. The parents are a Gariel peach-getter and money-maker, whose long years are close to ending, and a Lepus that was raised for the sole purpose of being that poor dragon's bride. Here are our contestants:

The two basic techs, along with high kick, heel raid, slap, ray, and flame. :) Neither parent had _tons_ of moves (the dragon had more than the Daina, but only by one), but it's enough to keep me going. And I had so much fun raising that Lepus power-based that I'm thinking of trying it again, so I'm not too disappointed about the line of physical attacks. Imagine that: a defense-power pixie. ;)

Hmmmm...isn't Life higher than Skill on the Lepus?

Life is higher, but the lepus life stat is multiplied by .5(2 in life) while the skill stat is multiplied by 1.5(4 in ski). With the corrected stat order, skill would still be higher than life.

Must be a weird technicality that I didn't read.

Yeah, I still do chat now and then. Unfortunately, when I do, there's almost never people around. I popped in once just before you popped out. I need to get on earlier in the day. Darn my SO and our time-sharing. ;)

And it is kind of wierd, Nate, but it makes sense once you read the comparisons... at least to me, it did. Check out DP's posting on combinations in the 'Combining' section. It's why I'm working on the baseline collecting.

ha! you think time-sharing with your SO is tough? try sharing with a kid. their idea of sharing is...well, you can get on when, er if, i go to sleep...

what is going to happen to the tournaments if DP never returns? what even happened to him... he just abandoned the whole tournaments, but why? anyone know?

no one has heard from dark phoenix. it has only been a little more than a month, although it feels like longer. currently, the plan is to await his return. if time keeps stretching on and there is no return, i don't know what we will do - or can do, for that matter.

unlike the game phoenix, dark phoenix has flown off before...and always returned. i think that will be the likely result in this case as well.

Last time there was a fight was December. December 5th I believe...it seems so long ago, y'know.

I'd think someone should take over in his place if he's always going to be gone like this...

I'm back. Mostly my absence has been due to burnout. I plan on being present more, but expect me to take a less active role than in the past. BTW, thanks Kurasu, your baseline charts should prove to be a BIG help!
