I was going through the MR1 information and couldn't help but notice some really strange happenings. Monsters' stat gains seemed all over the place, rather than in nice averages. I then noticed that the numbers were gotten out of a guide book, rather than in the game itself.

I'm wondering if someone could look into the bowels of Monster Rancher 2's guide books (either American or Japanese) and see if their numbers match our numbers. What we have is right, extensively tested and double-checked as they are. What I would like to know is if the Monster Rancher 2 guides say otherwise. If so, I'm wondering if maybe the Monster Rancher 1 charts should be double-checked as well.

I checked the MR2 numbers against the books and they do match, except for Fairy Hare, which was a glitched monster in MF2 with incredible guts regen.

The MR1 section was built by just a few of us after the move, none of the 'sharkers' really ever looked at it very deeply.
