This is fairly straightforward since the map is a spiral. Follow the road forward. First you will find an event crystal that shows you a Phoenix flying and apparently falling from the sky. The next thing you must do is get a Golden Peach from the tree in the northeast corner of the map. Continue to the southeast corner where you find the phoenix on the ground, hurt. Give the Golden Peach to the phoenix to heal him. He will fly off, but leaves a Feather that can be used to create a Phoenix and Phoenix will be unlocked.
